General Questions

Our Women’s Association will kick off the conference on Monday, April 15th through dinner on Tuesday, April 16th. That evening, the rest of our Associations will join the conference starting with a plenary session together at 7pm. (Men are also welcome at the Women’s Association portions!)

Wednesday, April 17th through Thursday, April 18th the Better Together Conference will include daily morning sessions led by each of our ethnic Associations (Black Pastors & Leaders Association, Hispanic Association, AAPI Association), afternoon breakouts and panels, and evening plenary sessions with everyone together. Evening plenary sessions are free and open to the public.

  • Morning sessions – each of our three ethnic Associations will host separate sessions in the mornings. If you are not a part of one of these Associations, you are strongly encouraged to attend one of those sessions each day to experience teaching, worship, and ministry with our Associations!

  • In the afternoons, we will have a variety of breakouts. Most of these will be open for anyone to attend and there will be a few closed breakouts for specific Association groups. More details are coming soon on these breakouts!

  • During the afternoon breakout slot, we will also host a panel discussion in the main room with Dr. Korie Little Edwards and Vineyard practitioners who have fostered Beloved community. This will run once each day, and we’d encourage everyone to attend one of the days!

  • After dinner, we will have a plenary session all together. It will be free and open to the public, as well as live streamed. This session will include teaching from nationally recognized leaders, multi-ethnic worship, and ministry.
Even if you aren’t formally a part of an Association, this conference is for you! Men and women are welcome in all sessions of the Women’s Association portion on Monday and Tuesday. Then, you will follow the same schedule as folks who identify in an ethnic Association.

On Wednesday and Thursday when those Associations are meeting together, you are encouraged to join one of the Associations to experience their teaching, worship, and ministry. During the breakout times, most sessions will apply to everyone, so you’ll have plenty of spaces to learn about fostering Beloved Community in your church. There will be a few closed sessions for specific groups of people in Associations during that time, but you will have plenty of options to choose from.

We would love for you to join us for the conference – we truly are Better Together!

Associations are groups of historically under-represented Vineyard USA pastors & leaders with two purposes: intentional environments for leadership development, mentoring, & hospitality and to provide formal structures for these voices to be heard at the national leadership table.

We currently have four Associations:

  • Women’s Association
  • Hispanic Association
  • Asian-American/Pacific Islander Association (AAPI)
  • Black Pastors and Leaders Association
