Dr. Charles Montgomery, Jr. serves as the Associations Director for Vineyard USA, where he equips and empowers pastors and leaders, championing leadership development for Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Women leaders. A pastor, scholar, and thought leader, he also ministers locally as a Teaching Pastor at Vineyard Columbus, one of the largest and most diverse churches in the Midwest.
Shaped by the historic Black Church and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Montgomery is passionate about building Beloved Communities that embody justice, reconciliation, and diversity. His ministry has reached global platforms, including preaching in the UK, South Africa, and the Middle East.
He is ordained in Vineyard USA, the American Baptist Church, and the National Baptist Church, USA, and has earned credentials in Diversity Training, is an Emotionally Focused Facilitator, and a Certified Spiritual Director through the Sustainable School of Faith.
Above all, Dr. Montgomery treasures his greatest grace—being married to his childhood crush, Kimberly, as together they embody authentic servant-leadership rooted in Micah 6:8: to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
